MOSCOW—Gritman Medical Center (GMC) and Moscow Family Medicine (MFM) are pleased to announce we are exploring a strategic arrangement to integrate our outpatient clinical operations in Moscow. This will include all current MFM operations including the main MFM clinic in downtown Moscow, the MFM west side clinic, MFM quick care, and the University of Idaho Student Health campus clinic.
MFM has been a part of Catalyst Medical Group since 2017. On Wednesday, April 25 MFM declared its intention to leave Catalyst before the end of 2018. Over the coming weeks, GMC and MFM leadership are exploring opportunities to help us align our operations and build the quality of care we provide.
“For over 35 years, Moscow Family Medicine has built respected and fundamentally important clinical operations in Moscow. Gritman is committed to bringing our resources and expertise to this process to build an even brighter future for patient care in our community,” said Kara Besst, President and CEO of Gritman Medical Center.
“Both Gritman and Moscow Family Medicine leadership teams will be working together in the coming weeks to create the best solution for our patients and their families. This is an exciting time for health care in our community and Gritman has been a valuable partner in the process,” said Jeffrey Geier, CEO of Moscow Family Medicine.
Gritman and Moscow Family Medicine will provide more details as they become available.
