UPDATE: Appointments for our Nov. 6 pediatric COVID-19 vaccination clinic have filled. Additional vaccine resources are available at vaccines.gov.
Online Pre-registration Required; COVID-19 Vaccines for Children 5-11
Gritman | Moscow Family Medicine will host a pediatric COVID-19 vaccination clinic Saturday, Nov. 6, for children ages 5-11. Online pre-registration is required and no walk-in appointments will be allowed.
Vaccine appointments will be held at Gritman’s Moscow Family Medicine Downtown Clinic, 623 S. Main St., Moscow. Phone appointments will not be accepted.
Family Medicine/OB Physician Dr. Bryn Parker and Pediatrician Dr. Summer Day are among providers taking part in the clinic. Both held similar vaccine clinics for children 12-17 earlier this year and are encouraging parents to register their children to receive the vaccine.
“The COVID-19 vaccine is safe and effective and now available for children ages 5-11. As your local family practice and pediatric physicians, we care about your health and encourage people to get vaccinated,” Dr. Parker and Dr. Day said.
Instructions regarding second doses will be given at the time of the first appointment. Masks and social distancing are required for entry into the clinic.
COVID-19 vaccines are widely available for patients ages 12 and older. Resources on where adults and adolescents can be vaccinated are available at vaccines.gov.
The pediatric vaccine clinic is being scheduled in anticipation of final government approval and availability of pediatric COVID-19 vaccines. Please note the clinic may be rescheduled because of delays in regulatory approval or dose availability.
