Athletic Training Program

Investing in a brighter future for health care

Gritman knows how important it is to keep our young athletes healthy and on the field and court. That’s why Gritman and Gritman Therapy Solutions have partnered with the University of Idaho’s Doctor of Athletic Training (DAT) Program to provide the highest level of care to student-athletes in the region.

The Gritman Foundation offers a scholarship so candidates in UI’s DAT program can work and train full-time with young athletes directly in our regional high schools. DAT students are certified athletic trainers and are licensed to practice in Idaho. Additionally, they have advanced training and certification including having successfully completed bachelors and masters degrees in this field of study.

This partnership brings the most advanced level of care and specialized training available to our student-athletes. Working with our regional schools, Gritman is committed to keeping young athletes healthy in the classroom and on the field of play.
