Pink Events

Pink Events are events that support our Light a Candle Program, Bosom Buddies Program, or the Cancer Care fund. Check out all the fun things we have going on below!

 

Pink Tea/Pink Cocktail

The Pink Tea and Pink Cocktail events are the Gritman Foundation’s largest fundraisers in support of cancer care services throughout our region. These events support a great cause and have a longstanding history.

Vandal Athletics

  • Tackle Cancer (Football): 12 p.m. PT on Sept. 21, vs. Eastern Washington. Tickets go on sale through Vandal Athletics beginning Aug. 15.
  • Hoops for Hope
  • Soccer
  • Volleyball

Spike for a Cure Volleyball

Several local high school volleyball teams have partnered with the Gritman Foundation to host a Spike for a Cure game. Enjoy the volleyball games along with concessions, silent auctions and more fun activities! All funds raised through these events go to the Bosom Buddies program.

  • Pullman at Moscow – 5 p.m. Sept. 30, Moscow Bear Den
  • Gar-Pal at Potlatch – 7 p.m. Oct. 7, Potlatch High School Gymnasium (JV game earlier in the evening)
  • Genesee at Troy – 7 p.m. Oct. 8, Troy High School Gymnasium (JV game earlier in the evening)
  • Oakesdale at Colton – 6 p.m. Oct. 15, Colton High School Gymnasium

Chicks ‘n’ Chaps

Chicks N’ Chaps is an all-women rodeo clinic that teaches the sport of rodeo while raising awareness and money for LOCAL breast cancer patients and their families. Chicks don’t have to know anything about rodeo to attend! Join us in the “Chick Pit” and other Chick-Only designated areas for food, beverages, auctions and goodie bags! There will be arena stations where cowboys will teach about roping, bull riding, bullfighting plus so much more. For more information go to www.chicksnchaps.org.
