When I heard the news that Gritman was rated a 5-star hospital for patient experience, I wasn’t surprised. The vibe and spirit at Gritman is different than anywhere else I’ve worked in my 40 years in
health care. Staff are friendlier, more caring and more willing to go out of their way to help others. They do it because they are glad to do it, not because they have to.
Our team of 200 nurses and nursing staff is an essential part of Gritman’s 5-star status. Patients gave our nurses top marks for genuinely and carefully listening to them.
