Whether permanent or temporary, it can be difficult to adjust to the changes in your life after an ostomy.
While everyone copes differently, Gritman Medical Center’s free ostomy support group can provide a safe place for those learning to live with an ostomy and their loved ones who are helping them during their journey. The group provides an opportunity for participants to discuss their feelings and struggles, ask questions and share their successes with others who may benefit from their experiences.
Meetings are open to anyone with an ostomy and for those who wish to empower, advocate for and improve the quality of life for those with an ostomy.
The group meets at 5 p.m. on the first Wednesday by Zoom. Please contact Karen at 509-332-6053 for more information and Zoom link.
