New visitor restrictions and mask requirements

As part of our response to the COVID-19 public health emergency, we are changing our visitor restriction and mask requirements. This is a critical step to help to protect our patients, clinical team and staff.

  • No visitors are allowed in any patient room with the exception of 1 (one) parent or guardian for pediatric patients.
  • One companion (same person for duration of stay) is allowed for delivering mothers in the Family Birth Center.
  • No visitors are allowed in the Emergency Department with the exception of one) parent or guardian for pediatric patients.
  • Certain exceptions may be made for end of life situations.

While we understand how important the support of loved ones and friends is to patients during their hospital stay, the intent of these restrictions is to do everything we can to protect patients, staff and the community. We are encouraging alternative means of communication through cellphones or other mobile devices.

All patients will now be required to wear a mask when entering the hospital. Patients are asked to bring a mask with them if they have one. Sewn fabric masks are acceptable.

Patients who do not have a mask will be provided a mask when arriving at the hospital. We are not able to provide any masks to the general public at this time. Our mask supply is only for patients, staff and allowed visitors.

Thank you for your understanding and help in keeping our hospital safe during this unprecedented time.
