To date, more than 1,500 facemasks have been sewn and donated to Gritman Medical Center, and we are so grateful for the community’s generosity, dedication and support. These masks are critical for keeping our staff and patients safe during the COVID-19 crisis, and they truly are making a difference.
However, to meet our needs during these difficult times and ensure all of our staff and patients are protected, based on our current use and estimates, we’ve set a target of 8,000 facemasks. All of our fabric masks are collected, processed through sanitary laundry at ultra-high temperatures and reused. But even with all these efforts, it’s not enough — we need your help.
We created a one-stop-shop to answer all your facemask questions and for details on how you can help us at gritman.org/facemask! You can find all of the latest updates, patterns, tips, information and requests there.
